Connect-Integrate-Reflect
Experiential Education at Emory
Emory’s Quality Enhancement Plan, Connect-Integrate-Reflect: Experiential Education at Emory, aspires to create a thriving culture of experiential learning in which students may grow as learners, professionals, and global citizens. It cultivates a holistic education that enables students to develop and synthesize a cohesive array of skills and areas of knowledge, while allowing them to connect the dots between class, career, and community.
Through external partnerships, including internships, studies abroad, and community-engaged learning activities, the plan connects students with external organizations and communities, to integrate the knowledge they have acquired in the university with the practices of these organizations and communities, and teach them to reflect on the application of their knowledge and skill in new contexts and unfamiliar situations.
